About The Owner: Gail Biggs Jackson

Gail Jackson, the savvy owner of the Negril Treehouse Resort was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, but fell in love with the Island of Jamaica and a man who had similar dreams as hers, James Jackson, over 30 years ago. James, a Jamaican who had already started a small restaurant in Negril, went on to build the Negril Treehouse Hotel in 1981 and married Gail in 1983. The Negril Treehouse, which only had 16 rooms back then, was an escape for tourists around the world and taught Gail important skills in hotel management and customer service.  Although Mr. Jackson passed away in 2011, Gail says the hotel is still family owned and operated. “Some guests have been here over 45 times in 30 Years,” Gail said. “I enjoy interacting with the guests and take pride in Negril Treehouse being affordable and laid-back.”

Hotel rates at Negril Treehouse Resort range from $120-$350 year round (Breakfast is included). For more information about The Negril Treehouse visit the site here: WWW.NEGRILTREEHOUSE.COM
