Actor/Comedian Chris Tucker Hosts Holiday Surprise at Atlanta Boys & Girls Club
Star Lights Up Young Lives at Christmas Outreach Initiative

World-renowned actor and comedian Chris Tucker made a surprise visit to an area Boys & Girls Club to deliver Christmas gifts to 200 underprivileged youth December 22. Tucker, a native of the Atlanta area, arrived at the NFL/Youth Education Town Boys & Girls Club full of holiday cheer. The program, which featured catered lunch, entertainment and more, was sponsored by The Chris Tucker Foundation.

With more than 20 recreation centers recently closing in the City of Atlanta, the NFL Boys & Girls Club has witnessed an influx in youth and families utilizing the center's resources and programs making this year's donation from the Chris Tucker Foundation a special holiday gift in tough economic times.

"I am excited to come home and make a difference in the lives of our youth," said Tucker. "There's nothing more important during this holiday season than giving to those in need and making a positive impact in someone's life."

Tucker said he plans to spend his Christmas with family and friends near Atlanta. "Every Christmas is good because it's about getting with family and friends. As long as my family is with me - and my friends - that's a great holiday."
When asked what he'd like for Christmas, Tucker commented, "I told Santa Claus to get me a Jet," he chuckled. "But all I really want is love and peace for everyone."

For the past four years, The Chris Tucker Foundation, founded by Tucker with a mission to provide needed resources to youth nationally and internationally, has provided assistance to the NFL/YET Boys & Girls Club during the Christmas season.
