• VP Kamala Harris has a plan to build a better future. Donald Trump wants to take us back. 
  • VP Harris is fighting for freedom—to protect and expand our fundamental rights, grow the middle class, lower the cost of living, and strengthen our democracy. 
  • Trump and MAGA Republicans want to control our lives—to take us backwards, rip away our rights, raise taxes on the middle class, and gut America’s system of checks and balances. 

ON ABORTION

• VP Harris has been fighting for reproductive freedom her entire career. She is committed to restoring the nationwide right to abortion after the Trump-appointed MAGA Supreme Court overturned Roe. 
  • HARRIS: “If Trump gets the chance, he will sign a national abortion ban to outlaw abortion in every single state… When Congress passes a law to restore reproductive freedoms, as President of the United States, I will sign it into law.” [DOWNLOAD CLIP]

ON LOWERING COSTS

• BREAKING: Vice President Harris lays out a bold new economic policy agenda to lower the cost of living for Americans and build up the middle class. Her plan includes: 
  • MIDDLE CLASS TAX CUTS: 
    • New $6,000 child tax credit for families with children in the first year of life.
    • Cut taxes by up to $3,600 per child for middle-class families with kids.
    • Cut taxes by up to $1,500 tax credit for frontline workers in lower-income jobs.
  • HOUSING: 
    • Provide a historic $25,000 in down payment support for first-time homeowners
    • End the housing supply shortage in the next four years by building 3 million new housing units. 
    • Offer first-ever tax incentive for building starter homes
    • Provide $40 billion to spur innovative and affordable housing construction. 

• Stop Wall Street investors from buying up and marking up homes in bulk
• Stop rent-setting data firms from price fixing to raise rents by double digits.

• CORPORATE PRICE GOUGING: 
  • Advance the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on food and groceries.
  • Set clear rules of the road to make clear that big corporations can’t unfairly exploit consumers to run up excessive profits on food and groceries.
  • Secure new authority for the FTC and state attorneys general to investigate and impose strict new penalties on companies that break the rules.
• HEALTH CARE: 
  • Extend $6,000 per year in savings on Affordable Care Act health insurance premiums. 
  • Cap the cost of insulin at $35/month. 
  • Cap out-of-pocket expenses for prescription drugs at $2,000 for everyone – not just seniors.

• Accelerate the speed of Medicare negotiations to lower prescription drug prices faster.
• Work with states to cancel medical debt for millions of Americans and help them avoid accumulating medical debt in the future.
