Atlanta: “LOVE PATRICK: Nothing Is Impossible” triumphs with four wins at the 2026 BronzeLens Awards
The Horn Brothers’ acclaimed documentary, “LOVE PATRICK: Nothing Is Impossible,” emerged as the night’s biggest winner at the 2026 BronzeLens Awards, capturing four of the festival’s highest honors: Best Documentary, Best of Festival, the BronzeLens Georgia Filmmaker Award and the BronzeLens Audience Award.
The awards ceremony, held August 30 before a nearly standing-room-only audience at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center at Morehouse College, brought the 17th Annual BronzeLens Film Festival to a triumphant close. From 54 nominated films, BronzeLens recognized exceptional achievements in authentic storytelling, artistic excellence, and cultural impact across competitive and special award categories.
Directed by Atlanta-based filmmakers Ryon, Tyson, and Byron Horne, “LOVE PATRICK: Nothing Is Impossible” chronicles the extraordinary life and legacy of pioneering fashion designer Patrick Kelly. Its four-award sweep underscored the film’s powerful connection with audiences and festival jurors alike.

BronzeLens Looks Ahead to 2027
BronzeLens will open its 2027 season with the highly anticipated BronzeLens Women SuperStars Honors on Saturday, March 6, 2027. The signature celebration will spotlight distinguished and emerging women creatives whose work in front of and behind the lens exemplifies excellence in film and television.
On Sunday, March 7, BronzeLens Sunday Brunch with the Brothers will place men of color in film and television center stage. Honorees will share the defining moments, lessons, and strategies that have helped them build successful careers and achieve longevity in a highly competitive industry.
The BronzeLens 2027 Summer Creators Wonderland Festival will unfold over two weekends—August 20–22 and August 26–29, 2027. Festival experiences will include an expertly curated collection of screenings, educational Craft Day programming, the Opening Night Experience, Cinema and Social Justice Sunday, and the BronzeLens Awards.
With another landmark season ahead, BronzeLens continues its commitment to elevating authentic voices, celebrating exceptional filmmaking, and creating meaningful opportunities for filmmakers, artists, and audiences to connect.

The festival will conclude with a dazzling salute to its “Best of Festival” filmmakers. Awards will recognize excellence in feature films, documentaries, short films, short documentaries, web series, international films, Georgia productions, student films, music videos and dance films, along with outstanding performances by an actor and actress.
The BronzeLens Film Festival honored Atlanta entertainment trailblazer Tip “T.I.” Harris with the 2026 BronzeLens Cultural Icon Award during Grand Hustle Night, Sunday, August 23, at Tara Atlanta.
The special evening paid homage to T.I.’s far-reaching contributions to African American culture and celebrate Atlanta as the birthplace of Trap Music. The program featured screenings of Christopher Scholar’s documentary The Birth of Trap Music and Da’Partments 2, directed by T.I., along with filmmaker talkbacks and the award presentation.
