Aretha Franklin, the iconic singer who earned the name The Queen of Soul, passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 76.
The preacher’s daughter left an indelible mark on music, starting in the 1960’s. Since then, she’s created a decades’ worth of hits in her catalog, including “Respect,” “Rock Steady,” “Chain of Fools,” “Day Dreaming” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.”
