Jai White and Ali shine in this in-your-face, action-packed thrill ride, which introduces new anti-hero John Chapman and also explores the serious topics of sex trafficking, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and challenges sometimes faced by military war veterans and their families. Ray Lewis, Spike TV Team for ‘Coaching Bad’ Series

The eight-episode unscripted series will explore how coaches deal with anger management and bow in 2015. Spike TV is teaming with NFL legend Ray Lewis for a new series exploring coaching and anger management. The Viacom-owned cable network has ordered eight hourlong episodes of Coaching Bad, which will feature nine coaches receiving instruction from Lewis and anger management specialist Dr. Christian Conte. The series, which will film in Los Angeles, will debut in the first quarter of 2015. The coaches come from a variety of different sports from across the country, with the series featuring the nine moving into a Coaching Center in Los Angeles for intense retraining and reconditioning in a program designed by Lewis and Conte that will include three phases of transformation: assessing the coaches’ baseline anger issues, working to create real change, and putting that change to the test. For many of those participating, the program may be their last hope to save their jobs — and their marriage. Various sports figures will guest-star and share the negative effects of caustic coaching. Chuck Pagano, Bill Romanowski and Glen “Big Baby” Davis are among those set to appear. The series hails from Irwin Entertainment’s (Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, Couples Therapy) John Irwin, Damian Sullivan and Richard Hall. Keke Palmer Set To Be Become Broadway’s First Black Cinderella

Associated Press | By MARK KENNEDY NEW YORK (AP) — Like many girls, actress and singer Keke Palmer grew up dreaming of meeting a prince who would whisk her away to a life of love and happiness. In her case, it’s going to happen – eight shows a week on Broadway. Palmer said she’ll be stepping into the title role in “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella” starting Sept. 9 at the Broadway Theatre. She will become the first African-American to play the part on the Great White Way. “It’s honestly one of those things that I can’t believe is really happening,” Palmer said by phone Friday from her Los Angeles home. “I’m very excited. Very excited and nervous as well – a bunch of feelings all at once.” Palmer, who will be making her professional stage debut, will rely on a host of skills she’s developed from film – including “Barbershop 2: Back in Business” and “Akeelah and the Bee” – her BET talk show, “Just Keke,” and on TV in Showtime’s “Masters of Sex.” Her albums include the 2007 CD “So Uncool” and a self-titled 2012 EP. She has played Chili in “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” and starred in Nickelodeon’s “True Jackson, VP.” Palmer also appeared opposite Cicely Tyson and Vanessa Williams in Lifetime’s “A Trip to Bountiful,” which was nominated for an Emmy Award.The Illinois-born actress’s parents, Sharon and Larry Palmer, both worked as professional actors, and young Keke said she grew up watching theater and welcomes the discipline it will give her.“Theater offers so much more than I haven’t been able to access doing film and TV and everything like that,” she said. “I’m very excited to learn all that it has to offer – that focus and that dedication to perform at a certain level every night.” …

Dwayne Johnson at Los Angeles premiere of HERCULES & Fan Surprise

 Dwayne Johnson, along with co-cast members and special guests including Mariah Carey and Eddie Murphy, walked the red carpet at the Chinese Theater for the Los Angeles premiere of HERCULES July 23. HERCULES was released in theaters July 25th, 2014.  Dwayne Johnson surprised fans across Southern California, this time with two back-to-back stops, at Camp Pendelton where he met with Troops and their families and also at Comic-Con in San Diego where in addition to bringing down Hall H, he surprised fans at three advance special screenings of HERCULES, from Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures.
