November 22, 2012RENEÉ The name Renee’ means REBORN. In the fulfilling of her name, Renee’ found a sustaining peace and loving Savior. If you ask Reneé what drives her, the answer will be her inner relationship with God and her desire to please Him. When all is said and done, Renee’s heart lies with, and belongs to God. Reborn, her debut album, is a true reflection of the triumphs and trials encountered along the path Renee’s life has taken, and the unfailing love God has demonstrated through it all. The songs on her album address situations we all face, making her project one that not only Christians would appreciate, but also one that a wider audience could embrace. “Singing for God and his people, is what I am most comfortable doing. It’s something I love and I’ve been doing for a long time,” Renee’ explains. For Renee’, singing is all about His will. “Life has taught me so much about who God is. I have had trials that caused me to lie before God many days and nights. It was during these times God inspired me to write these songs.” She strongly believes that all she has been through was to prepare her for this divinely appointed time. I pray this project reaches into the soul of the listener and deposits the anointing and peace of God that was present during the creation of each song. As a songwriter, and co-founder of Take Note Entertainment, Renee’ and producer Wirlie Morris successfully built a catalog of hit songs of various genres in the U.S. Europe and Japan. God blessed Renee’ to contribute to projects of major artist. November 14, 2012BRONZELENS FILM FESTIVAL 2012 PHOTOS Now in its third year, the BronzeLens Film Festival (BronzeLens) continues to be one the nation’s most anticipated film festival events. The festival took place November 8-11, 2012 in Atlanta and offered content for filmmakers, industry professionals, students and the general public. Attendees chose from a variety of BronzeLens expert signature panels, workshops, master classes, domestic and international film screenings while getting a taste of unique southern hospitality. BronzeLens Festival Highlights Legendary casting director and producer Reuben Cannon hosted “The Producers Roundtable” a groundbreaking session that brings together high-level entertainment executives sharing their strategies for producing successful film and television projects. Issa Rae, the producer, director, and lead actor of Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl opened up about her incredible journey to success as a webisode producer. Award-winning author and playwright Pearl Cleage discussed her newest project in “From Novel to Screen: The Pearl Cleage Film Project.” And, NAACP Image Award winning producer Roger Bobb conducted a new workshop “Creating Comedy Shows with Roger Bobb”. This year the Women Superstars Luncheon, which has become a BronzeLens favorite for local corporations as a means of exposing employees and clients to the BronzeLens experience, took place on Friday November 9, 2012 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. Accomplished women of color in the film and television industry were honored at this signature event. October 25, 2012The pop star’s interview will air Nov. 25, and was taped the same day his YouTube channel passed 3 billion views. Justin Bieber will join Oprah Winfrey for an in-depth interview — and a look behind the scenes. The pop star will be the latest musician to join Winfrey on her OWN show Oprah’s Next Chapter,” following recent interviews with Rihanna and Fergie. The episode will air Nov. 25, and will head backstage at a Bieber Believe tour date as well as include a sit-down interview. “Me and the Bieber just finished our interview,” Winfrey wrote on Facebook on Wednesday, sharing a picture of herself with the teen singer. “Good stuff!” Bieber is in the midst of a busy year — his “Believe” world tour, in support of his chart-topping album of the same name, extends through April. He’ll have to find time to celebrate, though: his YouTube channel passed 3 billion views on Wednesday. Bieber’s the first musician to hit the mark, with Rihanna and Lady Gaga trailing in the 2 billion range. The event will pay homage to Murphy’s journey from a 15-year-old aspiring comedian, to the record-breaking “Raw,” which remains the highest grossing stand-up film of all time, to his indelible characters and impressions from “Saturday Night Live” including Buckwheat, Gumby, Mr. Robinson and James Brown. The celebrity lineup features many of Murphy’s peers and co-stars including: Chris Rock, Samuel L. Hosted by superstar Chris Brown, the event celebrated Chris’s partnership with the revolutionary browser free communications platform. With the much anticipated hype surrounding his Qubeey channel launch, Chris Brown did not disappoint. Throughout the evening Chris updated his fans by tweeting messages as “#Qubeey thnx for the support,” during the event. Brown was also hanging out with everyone from fans, invitees, Qubeey executives and the winners of Qubeeys Chris Brown contest, Freddie Gladney and Desiree Reed. Celebrities in attendance included Rihanna, who came out to support her friends’ new venture, as well as Rappers Xzibit, Too Short, Shar Jackson, Brandon T.
